It’s the de-facto standard for email for businesses. Zero issues for me. Install your CU’s as you’re supposed to and you’ll be a-OK.

The new features in Exchange 2013 make it more than worthwhile to upgrade from earlier versions. One thing that has made my job a lot easier is the ability to add/remove servers and to recover from failures – it is a different ballgame entirely here.

There are some issues with it – for some reason the ECP virtual directory tends to get corrupted quite often and has to be rebuilt (it’s easy, but still shouldn’t be a problem in the first place), but overall it has been more stable than our 2010 installation.

I would recommend it and I also like that MS has put out so much training and information on setup and configuration. (See Microsoft Virtual Academy and Technet)

A very powerful and stable platform with great HA and inbuilt AV/AS functionality (if configured correctly). It’s just a shame that the GUI feels like a complete afterthought making it difficult to perform a lot of common tasks available in 2007’s UI without the use of Powershell. On the plus, however, my PS skills have increased substantially since upgrading but it does mean that getting elbows deep into any problem has become more difficult.

To be quite honest I prefer Exchange 2010 do to the very GUI based setup as opposed to Exchange 2013 but at least it teaches you a lot of PowerShell scripting 😉

The product itself is very robust and once you get a hang of using the modern looking web based Admin Console then it is a breeze to manage mailboxes, certs and databases.

I have had minimal trouble with the setups I have done of it and would recommend it as a solid mail server product.

My organization have been using Exchange 2013 from past one year and I must say that it has improved our Email communication drastically. Exchange 2013 is much more secure than other Email Servers as well. Great buy Overall…

One of the better Exchange releases but not without faults. Some of the problems dealt with when using 2013 can be impossibly complicated without a fair amount of PS use.

We had a hybrid 2010/2013 deployment that was a bit tricky in the beginning but once they worked out some of the issues (licensing/downtime/office 2013 deployments) it turned into a great environment.
